The Defense Minister of Norway says her country will continue its contributions to Afghanistan .

Anne-Grete Strom- Erichsen minister of defense of Norway arrived in Kabul for a formal visit yesterday.

In a meeting with Afghan president Hamid Karzai, Mrs. Anne-Grete said her country will continue to take part in rehabilitation and security efforts in Afghanistan to the extent possible.

A new release by the press office of the Afghan president says the Afghan president and defense minister of Norway stressed on consolidation of relation between the two countries.

There are 500 Norway forces operating the framework of ISAF forces in Afghanistan .
